ABOUT
Clutter is a common occurrence in our lives, taking form both physically and emotionally. Clutter becomes its most powerful when the two types merge, taking up unnecessary space in our lives and minds and clogging areas where our well-being could further thrive. In this project, I have processed and repurposed some of my own sentimental items in order to inspire others to positively process their clutter to make room for a more enhanced quality of life.
THE PAIRS
Each collage “set” highlights a before and after image after decluttering. The first collage is always representative of the negative feelings induced by clutter, while the second collage highlights the positive emotions that arise afterward once I sorted through the physical and emotional space the items took up.
THE DESCRIPTIONS
Paired with each piece is a description tag highlighting the significance of the items used in each piece. Each describes how those items tie into the main theme of the piece, which is written in the digital font.
